Terms and Conditions

WayMaker Education and Workforce Development/WayMaker Nursery LLC

Last Updated: 05/02/2026

Welcome to WayMaker Education and Workforce Development/WayMaker Nursery LLC

By booking a tutoring session, purchasing a digital product, using this website, or communicating with us about educational services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before booking or purchasing.

1. Educational Services

WayMaker Education and Workforce Development provides private tutoring, English communication lessons, GED/adult education support, business communication coaching, digital lesson materials, and educational resources.

Our services are designed for learning support, confidence-building, skill development, and educational enrichment. We do not guarantee specific test scores, employment outcomes, promotions, admissions decisions, or financial results. Student progress depends on attendance, effort, practice, readiness, and outside factors.

2. Private Tutoring Bookings

Private tutoring sessions are scheduled by appointment only. Sessions may take place online or through another agreed method.

When you book a session, you are reserving a specific time on the instructor’s calendar. That time is held for you and is not available to other students.

Payment is required at the time of booking unless another written arrangement has been approved.

3. No Refund Policy for Private Tutoring

All private tutoring session payments are non-refundable.

Because each session reserves a specific appointment time and preparation space, payments are not refunded for cancellation, missed sessions, late arrivals, scheduling conflicts, technical issues on the student’s side, or changes in personal availability.

By booking a session, you understand and agree that the payment secures the scheduled instructional time.

4. Rescheduling Policy

Students may reschedule a private tutoring session with at least 24 hours’ advance notice.

To reschedule, the student must use the scheduling system or contact WayMaker Education and Workforce Development LLC at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time.

If proper notice is given, the payment may be applied to a rescheduled session.

5. Late Cancellations and Missed Sessions

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are forfeited.

Missed sessions, no-shows, or late cancellations are not refundable and cannot be rescheduled without payment for a new session.

A student is considered a no-show if they do not attend within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, unless another arrangement has been approved.

6. Late Arrival Policy

If a student arrives late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time.

The session will not be extended because of late arrival. This protects the instructor’s schedule and the time reserved for other students.

7. Instructor Cancellation or Emergency

If WayMaker Education and Workforce Development must cancel or reschedule a session due to instructor illness, emergency, technology failure on the instructor’s side, or unavoidable circumstances, the student will be offered a rescheduled session at no additional cost.

If rescheduling is not possible due to the instructor’s cancellation, a refund or credit may be offered at WayMaker’s discretion.

8. Packages and Multi-Session Purchases

If a student purchases a package or multiple sessions, all package payments are non-refundable.

Unused sessions may be scheduled within the time period stated at purchase, if applicable. If no time period is stated, package sessions should be used within 60 days of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Missed sessions or late cancellations within a package are counted as used.

9. Digital Products

Digital products may include PDF lessons, worksheets, Gamma lesson decks, digital downloads, templates, guides, or other educational materials.

All digital product sales are final and non-refundable once purchased or delivered.

Because digital products are immediately accessible, downloadable, or usable after purchase, refunds are not provided for buyer error, change of mind, failure to download, incompatibility with a preferred device, or not using the material.

If there is a technical issue with file access, please contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to help you access the purchased file.

10. License for Digital Products

Digital products are for personal learning or individual instructional use only.

Unless a separate written license is provided, you may not:

  • resell the materials
  • redistribute the materials
  • upload the materials publicly
  • share the files with other teachers, schools, platforms, or groups
  • copy the materials into your own product
  • claim the materials as your own
  • use the materials to train AI systems or create competing products
  • remove WayMaker branding or copyright notices

Teachers and tutors may use purchased materials with their own live students in private lessons or small instructional settings, but may not distribute the file itself to others unless the product specifically allows it.

11. Intellectual Property

All original lesson plans, worksheets, digital products, scripts, frameworks, designs, prompts, written materials, and educational resources created by WayMaker Education and Workforce Development  are protected intellectual property.

Purchasing a product or booking a lesson does not transfer ownership of the materials. It grants limited permission to use the material as described in these Terms.

12. Student Responsibilities

Students are responsible for:

  • attending scheduled sessions on time
  • using the correct meeting link
  • having a working internet connection for online sessions
  • preparing any needed materials
  • communicating scheduling concerns in advance
  • practicing between sessions when recommended
  • treating the instructor and other learners respectfully

WayMaker Education and Workforce Development  reserves the right to discontinue services if a student behaves disrespectfully, abusively, dishonestly, or in a way that disrupts the learning environment.

13. Technology and Online Lessons

For online tutoring, students are responsible for ensuring they have access to a stable internet connection, working audio/video if needed, and the correct platform link.

WayMaker Education and Workforce Development  is not responsible for lost session time due to student-side technical problems, including internet outages, device issues, forgotten links, login problems, or platform access issues.

If the instructor experiences a technical issue that prevents the session from taking place, the session may be rescheduled.

14. Communication

Students may contact WayMaker Education and Workforce Development  through the approved communication method provided at booking.

We make reasonable efforts to respond to messages in a timely manner, but response times may vary depending on teaching schedule, weekends, holidays, and availability.

For scheduling changes, students are responsible for giving at least 24 hours’ notice.

15. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect student privacy and handle personal information with care.

Student information is used only for appropriate educational, scheduling, administrative, and business purposes. We do not sell student information.

Students should avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the educational service being provided.

16. No Guarantee of Results

WayMaker Education and Workforce Development  provides educational support, guidance, strategies, and learning materials. However, we cannot guarantee:

  • GED passing scores
  • English fluency by a specific date
  • job offers
  • promotions
  • school admissions
  • business income
  • specific academic outcomes

We commit to providing thoughtful, prepared, professional educational support. Student outcomes depend on many factors, including attendance, effort, practice, prior knowledge, and consistency.

17. Payments and Fees

Payments may be processed through third-party platforms such as Stripe, Calendly, Gumroad, or another approved payment provider.

By purchasing or booking, you also agree to any applicable terms of the third-party payment platform used to process the transaction.

WayMaker Education and Workforce Development  is not responsible for third-party payment processing delays, account issues, or platform outages.

18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can review the issue.

Because our cancellation, rescheduling, and no-refund policies are clearly disclosed before booking or purchase, improper chargebacks may result in cancellation of future services, collection of unpaid fees, or restriction from future bookings.

19. Changes to Services or Terms

WayMaker Education and Workforce Development may update services, pricing, scheduling options, policies, or these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The terms in effect at the time of purchase or booking will generally apply to that transaction.

20. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, unless another law is required to apply.

Any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
